This Ford F1 is the classic storybook red truck and the granddaddy of all cool rides.
The original power train has been replaced with a thoroughly reliable and easily repaired small block 350 Chevy V8 with an automatic transmission with a 3-speed Lokar floor shifter. The mileage is unknown but is very low as the truck has been minimally used since the new engine was installed.
Modern engine temperature and oil pressure gauges (by Stewart Warner) have been installed under dash. Turn signals have been mounted on the steering column. Seat belts have been added to the bench. The interior of the cab has been faithfully restored with replica panels. All of the original instruments are in place for restoration if desired.
Exterior chrome fittings have all been refurbished or replaced. Fenders and running boards replaced with fiberglass replica units to prevent rust. The bed is a red oak with black rails. Vehicle has been minimally used and kept garaged.
