
RECENT RESTORATION, 239 V8, GREAT DRIVER! This is a truck that starts easily and drives great for a 69 year old truck! I call this a good 15-footer and a great deal better than spending twice the price for a show truck. Take a look at the pictures, video, and details below:
Cosmetic
Paint/Body: Super straight and very minimal rust body. Paint is new (paint code in the glove box) driver quality looks really nice from 15ft away. It could use a wetsand and buff to get to the next level.
Interior: Orignal uncut dash with fresh paint and new center chrome bezel. Original gauges in place with working speedometer. Seat cover is brand new and looks sharp.
Glass/Windows: All glass and weatherstripping is new. Vent window delete looks really sharp and provides extra room for your arm on the sill.
Trunk: Finish plywood laid in the bed looks nice. Needs to be finished off as you desire.
Undercarriage: Solid rust free frame rails. Minimal rust under the cab corners. Front floor pan patched with steel and fiberglass. Rear floor pans are original and very solid and rust free.
Wheels/Tires: Original wheels were cut and widened to 9 inches. Brand new Cooper tires.
Mechanical
Drivetrain: Period correct 239 flathead with recent rebuild. Starts easily and runs strong. Converted to 12 volt system with alternator that looks like an original generator. Transmission shifts through all the gears easily and clutch feels good.
Lights/Electrical: New wiring for the lights and turn signals.
Brakes: New hard and soft lines on rebuilt brake system. Stops easily and straight.
